Product Description
● Biochemistry:
Second generation ecdysone agonist. Causes cessation of feeding and premature lethal moult.
● Mode of action:
Active primarily by ingestion, also with contact and ovicidal activity. Does not have translaminar or phloem-systemic properties.
● Uses:
Control of lepidopterous larvae, in vines, tree fruits, vegetables and row crops, at 20 - 300 g/ha.
It is mainly used on vegetables and Field crops, prevent vegetables(cucurbits, solanaceous)apple, maize, cotton, grape, kiwi fruit, nut, flowering plant, beet, tea and field crops(rice, Sorghum vulgare, soybean), etc. from Lepidoptera pests. Particularly effect on larva and spawn. Safe to Beneficial insect and Beneficial mite, active in touch poisoning and root absorption. Friendly to the environment. Recommended application amount: 20~30g active ingredient /hm2
● Formulation types:
SC, WP.
● Feature:
Methoxyfenozide is a kind of insect growth regulator and belongs to the ecdysone insecticide, which inhibits food intake. It mainly interferes with the normal growth and development of insects even if the pests shed their skins and die. It has strong selectivity for the control objects and is only effective for lepidopteran larvae.
● Field Digestion Dynamics:
Methoxyfenozide has low water solubility between pH 5-9, low leaching in the soil, and low mobility. Field test results in Canada show that the half-life of Leiton in the soil is 239-433 d, and it is easily combined with the organic matter on the soil surface. Therefore, the concentration of Methoxyfenozide is usually the highest on the soil surface.
