Product Description
● Biochemistry:
New sterol biosynthesis inhibitor, acting mainly by inhibition of D 14-reductase.
● Mode of Action:
Protective, curative and eradicative systemic fungicide. Readily penetrates into the leaf tissue, followed by acropetal translocation to the leaf tip. Uniformly distributed within the whole leaf.
● Uses:
Systemic foliar fungicide. Control wheat powdery mildew and various rust diseases, barley moire and stripe disease. It is particularly effective against powdery mildew. It has fast action speed and long lasting period. It can be used alone or mixed with other fungicides to expand the germicidal spectrum. Control of powdery mildew in cereals (Erysiphe graminis), at 500-750 g/ha, and in grapes (Uncinula necator), at 400 g/ha. Also gives good control of rusts (Rhynchosporium and Pyrenophora teres), together with certain side-effects against Septoria diseases. Penetration studies have shown that tank mixes of Spiroxamine and triazoles can positively influence the uptake of triazoles in plants.
